Multi-directional sewing with reliable CNC technology is one of the core competencies of PFAFF INDUSTRIAL and KSL. With the largest CNC modular system in the industry (sewing area up to 6,000 x 8,000 mm), we can offer solutions for every conceivable application.

Unique in the world :

- With KSL, we can feature CNC solutions with single and double-needle technology for lockstitch and chainstitch.

- Max. sewing speed of our CNC technology of up to 2,800 stitches/min. with up to 12 mm stitch length (depending on material and application)

Guided sewing : KL 301 & KL 311

At TEXPROCESS 2024, we showcased two KSL CNC systems with the latest AI-based ONLINE VISION SYSTEM for guided sewing. On the KL 311, the AI-based Online VISION controls and optimizes the seam pattern in real time and stitch by stitch when sewing partially perforated leather. Position tolerances are detected and corrected immediately. Maximum quality results can thus be achieved. Waste is permanently minimized. The KL 301 is used to apply small parts (patches) to felt material. Here, the intelligent VISION SYSTEM supports the positioning of the parts and ensures a precise seam. The operator is relieved and the output is significantly increased.

Use synergies : PFAFF 3690 & iSONIC ECO TM

Together with Sonotronic, we presented a machine duo for the production of small leather goods in Frankfurt. Sewn on a PFAFF 3690 CNC machine (sewing area 500x 400 mm) and embossed on a Sonotronic iSONIC ECO TM machine, small leather key rings are produced live.
