FASHION ERA: Please tell us about Pioneer Udyog journey in last three decades?

FASHION ERA: What are the latest technologies emerging in the garment finishing sector, particularly in denims?

Mr. Molik Mahajan: Sustainable practices are becoming common in the garment finishing sector. Brands are pushing more in this direction and laundries and producers are adapting to this trend.

FASHION ERA: Sustainability is the biggest challenge in garment manufacturing today. What are future trends emerging in the global garment machinery industry?

Mr. Molik Mahajan: Automation and digitalisation are areas where we will continue to see creative solutions that bring value to the market in production efficiency, cost savings, improved quality and increased customer service. Handling of information and the ability to transform it to decisions and actions that optimises production, are vital. I am sure we will see new players, new ways of collaboration between companies and mergers due to these new technologies. To bring down cost, degree of automation will increase. To quickly understand and adapt to the ever-changing environment is a challenge.

FASHION ERA: Future expansion /extension/ diversification plan(s):…………………….

FASHION ERA: Do you cater domestic market or export market of India? For year 2016-17, what shall be new challenges and new opportunities for apparel manufacturers?

Mr. Molik Mahajan: We are catering into domestic as well as export manufacturers. Keeping the price sensitivity in concern we are presenting our top on top machines. But we received quite good response from exporters in the south. We strictly adhere to establish local, national, and international norms & regulations while engineering each of our product. This helps us in giving our large customer base convenient access to cutting-edge technology, functional innovation and cost efficiency in the form of our product portfolio.
Basically by adopting liquor technology we can reduce energy consumption, water consumption, as we have to take care of the environment too. The cost of the water treatment is increasing day by day. By 2017 it will be implemented all over India.
